1. Prepare your input

Trim a PCM WAV recording by start and end times without changing its sample values. Keep the original input and review the result before sharing.

2. Worked example

For a two-second recording, choose start 0.5 and end 1.5 to save one second of audio.

3. Supported inputs and limits

PCM 16-bit mono/stereo WAV only, 8–96 kHz, up to 20 MB and 120 seconds. MP3, compressed WAV, RF64 and other sample encodings are unsupported. Times snap to sample boundaries; metadata and extra chunks are omitted. No recording or upload.

4. Recover and verify

If processing fails, read the error and reduce the input or correct its format. Choosing a new input or changing settings clears the previous result. Download the result, open it independently and check its content; a download click alone does not verify a saved file.

Try the workflow

Start with a small example and check the result before using your own data.
