1. Prepare your input

Convert JSON to YAML or JSON-compatible YAML to JSON locally. Keep the original input and review the result before sharing.

2. Worked example

YAML id: "001" becomes JSON {"id":"001"}; keep identifiers quoted to preserve strings.

3. Supported inputs and limits

Up to 100,000 characters and nesting depth 100. YAML aliases, custom tags, duplicate keys and non-finite numbers are unsupported. JavaScript numeric precision applies. Comments and presentation formatting are not retained.

4. Recover and verify

If processing fails, read the error and reduce the input or correct its format. Choosing a new input or changing settings clears the previous result. Download the result, open it independently and check its content; a download click alone does not verify a saved file.

Try the workflow

Start with a small example and check the result before using your own data.
