Create separate PDF files for individual pages, fixed-size groups or custom page ranges.
2. Prepare your input
Choose individual pages, fixed-size groups or custom ranges. Plan how to identify the resulting files and retain the original PDF.
3. Follow a worked example
For a five-page PDF, Every N pages set to 2 creates three PDFs with 2, 2 and 1 pages. Download and unzip the archive, then open each file.
4. Check the result
Download and open the saved copy in your usual viewer. Compare it with the example and original: check dimensions, order, orientation and legibility where applicable. Extract ZIP exports and inspect their members. Keep your original until the output is checked.
5. Can splitting affect forms or signatures?
These page-copy exports do not preserve document-level signatures, bookmarks or accessibility tags. Interactive forms and encrypted documents are rejected. Keep your original.
6. Recover from an error
Read the file-type, size and processing limits on the tool page. An extension alone does not prove a file is valid. Try a small supported file or re-export from the source app. Protected or corrupt documents may need an authorized replacement. A successful click alone does not prove the saved copy is usable.
Try the workflow
Start with a small example and check the result before using your own data.
