Open PDF to Markdown Draft →1. Prepare your input
Convert simple selectable-text PDFs into an editable Markdown draft with inferred headings and lists. Keep the original input and review the result before sharing.
2. Worked example
A single-column PDF with a 24-point Project notes heading above 12-point body text becomes # Project notes followed by its text. Review font-based guesses before saving document.md.
3. Supported inputs and limits
Up to 20 MB, 20 pages, 20,000 text fragments per page and 500,000 extracted characters. Unrotated, left-to-right, single-column selectable text only. HTTP(S) annotation links on plain body lines only; no linked headings/lists or internal-page links. No OCR, tables, embedded images or reliable complex reading order. Large gaps are rejected as possible columns/tables; some unsupported layouts may escape detection. Font-based headings are optional heuristics. Page markers and separators are added. Inspect every page against the original.
4. Recover and verify
If processing fails, read the error and reduce the input or correct its format. Choosing a new input or changing settings clears the previous result. Download the result, open it independently and check its content; a download click alone does not verify a saved file.
Try the workflow
Start with a small example and check the result before using your own data.
