1. Choose this workflow

Change the capitalization of a draft without retyping it. Uppercase and lowercase apply to all text; title case capitalizes the start of whitespace-separated words.

2. Prepare your input

Paste text and choose a capitalization operation. Keep a copy so proper names and abbreviations can be restored after a broad case change.

3. Follow a worked example

hello WORLD becomes HELLO WORLD, hello world, or Hello World depending on your selected operation.

4. Check the result

Compare the output with the example and original. Check punctuation, case, spacing, line order and identifiers where relevant. Use the available copy or download action and inspect the result in the receiving application. Retain the source until the change is verified.

5. Is title case suitable for publication headlines?

Review it first. This simple operation does not apply a publication’s style rules for articles, prepositions, abbreviations, or proper names.

6. Recover from an error

Try the small example first. Read the error message and check syntax and the selected operation. If output differs from your intention, return to the original and change one setting at a time. Formatting and conversion do not validate the meaning of data.

Try the workflow

Start with a small example and check the result before using your own data.
