Open Regular Expression Tester →1. Prepare your input
Test a JavaScript regular expression with bounded processing and a match report. Keep the original input and review the result before sharing.
2. Worked example
Pattern \d+ with flags g finds 123 and 45 in Invoice 123 total 45.
3. Supported inputs and limits
Pattern up to 500 characters, text up to 50,000 characters, at most 1,000 matches. Worker processing stops after 500 ms; expensive expressions may fail. JavaScript syntax only, not other language engines.
4. Recover and verify
If processing fails, read the error and reduce the input or correct its format. Choosing a new input or changing settings clears the previous result. Download the result, open it independently and check its content; a download click alone does not verify a saved file.
Try the workflow
Start with a small example and check the result before using your own data.
