PDF Page Numbers & Watermark
Add footer numbers or a centered text watermark to selected PDF pages. Set starting number or opacity, preview a page and save a new PDF locally.
Files and text are processed on your device. No account or upload is required. Keep your original file and check the result before sharing it.
Practical example
To number only pages 2–4 starting at 1, enter 2-4 and set starting number to 1. They receive 1, 2 and 3; other pages remain without new numbers. Or choose a centered DRAFT watermark.
Limits and troubleshooting
Unencrypted PDFs up to 50 MB and 200 pages. Forms and signed PDFs are rejected. Labels support printable English/ASCII text. Numbers follow your selected page order; repeated selections are removed. New labels overlay existing content and may cover it. Existing content is not rasterized, but PDF editing may affect document features such as tags or bookmarks; verify the saved copy. Cancellation discards pending output, though PDF saving may finish in the background.
If the file fails, try a smaller standard file or re-export it from its original app. Check the final download in your usual viewer before deleting or replacing anything.
