When to use Find & Replace
Replace every occurrence of a literal phrase in a draft. The search is case-sensitive and does not interpret regular-expression symbols.
Practical example
Find buddy and replace it with friend: "Hello buddy" becomes "Hello friend". Searching for .* matches those exact two characters.
Can I delete a phrase?
Yes. Leave Replace with empty. The Find field must contain something. Review the output because replacements also occur inside longer words.
