When to use Image Resizer
Reduce or enlarge an image by setting its output width. Height is calculated automatically so the picture is not stretched.
Practical example
A 1200 × 800 image resized to width 600 becomes 600 × 400 pixels. Output is a PNG.
Will enlarging improve detail?
No. Enlargement interpolates existing pixels and cannot recover missing detail. PNG may be larger than the source JPEG. The output limit is 25 million pixels.
